Representatives from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) were on campus this afternoon to continue advancing institutional linkages and cooperation between DEL and UAM. They spoke about the establishment of a bridging program for UP students who are interested in pursuing postgraduate degrees in Madrid that require higher levels of Spanish, internship possibilities for Madrid students in Diliman, professorial exchanges and co-supervision of doctoral dissertations, and scholarship opportunities for Filipino graduate students at the UAM.
Attending the meeting were (L-R) Dr Miguel Blázquez, Associate Professor and Coordinator of the Spanish Section of UPD DEL; Francisco Javier Román, Delegate of the UAM Rector for Internationalization; Anjouli Janzon, Head of the UAM Study Abroad Office; and CAL Graduate Studies Coordinator and Spanish Associate Professor Dr Marlon James Sales, who received a token from UAM on behalf of DEL.
