On behalf of the Department of European Languages of the University of the Philippines Diliman, we are excited to announce that there will be a one-day conference/workshop for Spanish teachers and professors on our campus in September of this year. The I Jornadas de ELE Manila 2018 in the Philippines is an endeavour by the Department of European Languages, in collaboration with the Embassy of Spain and the Instituto Cervantes. Through this, we seek to create a meeting point in the Philippines for university teachers of Spanish as a Foreign Language (SFL) and to provide a place for exchange of teaching experiences and research on topics related to Spanish language and literature.
